The basic preparation stage
and the most imortant technological production section is the integrated steel
works - from the smelting of more
than 40 steel grades and alloys to finished cast parts, forgings
and pressings. It includes the following shops: foundry shop, themical
fettling shop, forge-and-press shop, mold-making
shop and drop-hammer plant. |
 |
Foundry shops are equiped with steel-making electroarc and induction furnaces, complex mechanical molding lines.
|
The quick-change floating
mold system of these lines, the use of up-to-date molding sands and coatings enable to perform the casting of any configuration up to 3000x3000x700 mm and with the weight up to 25 000 kg. The moulds for bigger castings up to 35 000 kg and size of up to 6000x6000x2000 mm are manufactured in two areas of hand molding.
|

|
The themical fettling shop
is equiped with the furnaces with roll-out bottoms of
the area 22 to 48 m2 which enable to perform all
types of themical treatment of castings.
It would be impossible
to realize the potential of the
foundry shops without the mold-making shop with
high-skilled specialists. |
 |
The equipment of the
forge-and-press shop enables to manufacture
the forgings from ingots with the weight
up to 20 tons.
The maximum sizes of parts' forgings:
of
'shaft' type - diameter 600 mm, length 5 000 mm,
of 'disc' type - diameter1300 mm, height 700 mm, of
'plate' type -
width 800 mm, thickness 400 mm, length 4000 mm, of 'ring' type - external diameter up to
1700 mm, internal diameter up to 1000 mm at height up
to 720 mm and thickness up to 100 mm. |
